The temperature has been raised so high for so long. When the media, politicians, and political commentators say for years that democracy is in Jeopardy, this could be our last election, Orange man is Hitler, Trump will be a dictator.

Somebody will eventually take that literally and feel the need to do something about it. They will feel that they have a moral obligation to intervene.

The media, public opinion, government agencies, government bureaucrats, international organizations, and the most powerful people in the world have weaponized everything they can against Donald Trump. Am I surprised someone tried to assassinate Trump? No. I'm surprised it took this long. That's not a call for violence.

Though I feel people on the left have raised the temperature significantly, The right needs to be mindful of how they raise the temperature. I believe there's a large portion of Democrats that can be swayed. The sad part is the Democratic party is being run by extremist in the far fringes of the democratic ideology.

Biden was quoted in a speech he made on 7-8 to the effect, "it's time to forget about the debate and put Donald Trump in the bullseye". If that's not a call to violence, I suppose you and I have different definitions of the language.

It's clear that at least some Americans are not looking for a 'non-violent solution', and are enjoying some degree of success in implementing their violent solutions.

They are being encouraged to do so by politicians and people with a platform who believe that it's acceptable to speak of putting their opponents "in a bullseye" to use a recent term.
