Why is it you never see gun companies sponsoring anyone in motorsports? Do people view it as morally wrong or what? Surely that can't be it, but wouldn't be surprised. You always see a Budweiser or Home Depot car. But I want to see someone sponsored by Eotech, Colt, Trijicon..w/e really. Obviously I would expect to see this more in NASCAR than any other type of racing due to the amount of..well we all know what's up there:p. Anyways..your thoughts?

Well sponsoring ARCA series cars are not exactly riding with the big boys on Sunday.

It would be cool to have the #38 Smith and Wesson J Frame Ford driven by Matt Kenseth or the #45 Colt Chevy driven by Tony Stewart.....something along those lines. I would say the demographic is definately there as most of us "NASCAR Dads" are gun owners, but NA$CAR has dropped long time sponsors Winston so I could see the idiots in charge not wanting firearms as well.

I did a paper on NASCAR sponsorships in college. Back then, I think the average for a hood was $100k/race for a consistent top 10 finisher.

We are the gun culture. NASCAR sponsorships tend to have more broad appeal (yes, I know a lot of gun/outdoor people are also racing fans). Look at the outdoor/gun demographic as already captured. They are already tuned into the culture. The sponsors' target is not the avid race fan, but the occasional race fan. The everyday guy who has X amount of disposable income to spend on their product because their guy one and the car has all sorts of pretty colors on it.

Short version- Cast with a large net, your chances of catching fish go up in quantity with no emphasis on quality.
Throw out a singular fishing line and employ strategy, you emphasize quality without addressing quantity.

Hope I explained that correctly.

bass pro sponsors , they sell guns . It would be cool to see a car decked out in some glock , S&W or some other firearm stickers and decals

Quoting an unnamed DOJ informant, Poole wrote that one of the indictments was aimed at Omar Ahmad, one of the founders of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). He continued that that indictment and others were “scuttled last year at the direction of top-level political appointees within the Department of Justice (DOJ) – and possibly even the White House.”

Read the Entire Pajamas Media story here.

These allegations come on top of a growing list of actions that run counter to the wishes and direction of the American public like:

•the decision to try 9-11 mastermind Khalid Sheik Mohammed in a Manhattan civilian court rather than before a military commission
•the decision to close Gitmo without first having a plan for what to do with the enemy combatants
•the decision not to prosecute Black Panther voter intimidation even when it was captured on video tape
•his consistent failure to acknowledge radical Islam as a motive in homegrown terrorism attacks

So the question is on the table:

Should Eric Holder Be Fired? Help us pressure Congress to investigate Eric Holder. with no emphasis on quality.

Damn dude you must be older than me! That's CHEAP for a hood. Back
Before they took the names off the windshield that was like 1,000,000 a year!

NASCAR didn't drop Winston . Government regulation forbids them from sponsoring .
