Guns you love but don't care to own

that's odd as these guns are so heavy, it negates most of the recoil.

HK91, I had to have one. Traded a Colt SP1 & post-ban Colt MT HBAR to get one at a gun show, bought 30 mags & 1000k rounds of ammo. Drove out to Emerson, GA to shoot it. Went thru 1 mag and hated the recoil. Traded it back the following weekend.

Nice over/under shotguns, love the looks, but they never get shot
HD Shotguns, tried it a couple of times, not my thing
Henry Lever - always wanted one, knowing it would not get used
Big bore revolver - same as above
MPX - just can't justify it
Browning HiPower - becuase Ed Murphy carried one.

  1. Walther PPK/S in .380 ACP (would love to score an affordable one chambered in .32 ACP though)
  2. Mauser K98
  3. A .44 magnum revolver
  4. A .50 cal Desert Eagle (The Matrix cool factor)

Walther PPK in 32 ACP
Marlin 444
Savage Model 99
Winchester 1885 High Wall

I've owned a couple of .32 PPKs.
One pre-war in blue and one later model in stainless. They are soft-shooting and very accurate for pocket pistols.
Loaned the pre-war to a friend who "lost it".
Sold the stainless when I started downsizing my accumulation.
Miss 'em both. :dispirited:

Every once in a while I feel like I want a clean Browning 1955. Blued is OK, Renaissance model would be really cool.
