Mine expired in July….I bought a shotgun in June in SC and I still had to wait on a background check…

I enjoy the benefits, especially skipping NICS. I plan to head to the courthouse soon.

Constitutional carry has differences from permitted carry in a lot of states. A lot of things that are OK with a local or reciprocal permit may not be allowed if you are going permitless.

The renewal period for a Georgia Weapons Carry License is when there is less than 90 days before expiration, but no more than 30 days after expiration.

If you renew during the allowed renewal period, you will not have to be refingerprinted.

my understanding is that unless it's 30+ days expired you do not have to go back thru the fingerprint process

Hopefully this. I have been diligent about renewing and not needing finger prints.

I don’t mind a few extra bucks cost but I remember having to go to a whole other facility to get finger prints many years ago.

Henry co has a 30 day after expiration and just renew.
I keep mine hopefully if I ever buy another gun and some ODT'er asks for it.

Awesome. I’m Coweta, I was over 30 days but they just accepted a full (new license) fee and no prints to renew.

I know we have constitutional carry but I keep my CP because gun stores.
