Has anyone gone to the Gwinnettcourts.com. Clicked on Probate, and then clicked the "firearms Permit" tab? All that I have come up on my computer is a page of gibberish. Is there something wrong with the page or is it my computer. I know. It's a commy plot to discontinue carry permits.

Looks like they the HTML didnt render on the site.

Do this:

ALL Firearm Permit applicants will pay a TOTAL fee of $80.00 for their Permit. Please note that if you are a retired Law Enforcement Officer with arresting powers, having worked ten of the last 12 years prior to your retirement, firearm permit fees are waived with exception of a $7.00 fee for the photo permit. After completing your Firearms Permit Application, submitting I.D. and effective 02-01-2012 a payment of $70. 00 (cash or personal check to the Probate Court - no starter checks, third party checks, or business checks accepted), you must be fingerprinted at the Gwinnett County Permits Unit located in the One Justice Square Building, located at 446 W. Crogan Street, Suite 200, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30046. The law was changed last year, if it was just possession of MJ and you have been free of all supervision for 5 years, then you are now eligible for a permit.

Any person who has been convicted of any misdemeanor involving the use or possession of a controlled substance and has not been free of all restraint or supervision in connection therewith or free of the following 2 items for at least five years immediately preceding the date of the application: (i) A second conviction of any misdemeanor involving the use or possession of a controlled substance; or (ii) Any conviction of an offense arising out of the unlawful manufacture or distribution of a controlled substance or other dangerous drug OR a conviction resulting in revocation of license, OR a conviction prohibiting possessing firearms pursuant to 18 U.S.C. Section 922 subsection (g) and (n);
