H&K Eyes Adapting Its Rifles To Fire Soviet Ammo

It makes sense. There's a lot of Warsaw pact ammo around in Europe in the former USSR nations. Now they're looking at the hungry Bear in their neighborhood and are trying to arm up. Who are they going to call to supply them with these new weapons to outfit their conscripts? Kalishnikov?

They need someone in the NATO family to supply and support the rifles, and the HK factory is 'right down the road'.

Germany could also sell a lot of leopard tanks if they would get enough spare parts to Ukraine to start repairing the ones they've got.

PTR beat them to the market.

Nope. HK made some roller lock models. Typical HK unicorn ****. The HK32 in 7.62x39 and the HK33/93 in 5.45x39. 5.56x45. Edited to make the 33 correct caliber and fix my stupid statement on 5.45x39. Duh. There was also am experimental 5.56 model that used STANAG mags and multiple of the U.S. based HK smiths made adapters and/or guns that were roller lock and used AR mags. I need to stop posting hungover so bad.
