I really REALLY dislike those things. Wreck havoc on the duckling hatches every year in my backyard. But hey, at least they stink. So they do have that going for them.

A long time ago I had caught one while fishing and had it dangling from the rod trying to maneuver the pliers in place to pull the hook. I thought it's neck was completely stretched out but as I got the pliers to it's mouth it managed to extend it's neck a little and nip the pliers. How it managed to do that I have no idea.
