Had to put Sophie, my 7 year old German Shepherd, down today. Last couple days she had gotten kind of bloated and seemed like she was in discomfort. Vet revealed she had a mass rupture around her liver. It’s very heartbreaking to lose her. She was so much more than a pet. We will miss her dearly.

I have had to put down way too many of my companions. It never gets easier.
