I plan on using my buddies Dan Wesson in 357. It is a really nice gun, 10 inch barrel with scope. Only problem is will not sell it to me.

I bought this to hunt hogs and protect myself from the bears..... i haven't put a scope on it yet... but carry it when hunting in Washington County due to the Bears....

Those sights are perfect. Small and black. Don't make the mistake a lot of people do by putting colored sights on the gun. Black contrasts better, and small sights are better for precision aiming when handgun hunting.

Funny you mention sights, I do plan on putting an adjustable rear eventually. If I can find one that doesn't look terrible on this gun. What do you hunt with, with a name like that you should be able to put a few pictures in this thread.

I think I am gonna try my luck at some handgun hunting this year. I haven't been out in the past few seasons but I am definitely going to make it out this year.
