Were they a all terrain tire? A lot can change in 20 years.I had a set of Hancook's, couldn't tell you which ones, on a Ram 1500 around 2007. I didn't care for them. Noisy, would not stay balanced, spun easily on damp pavement, and the ride was meh. YMMV That was almost 20 years ago and they seem to be a popular tire.

At $141 a tire and made in the US I would give them a try. 2500 mike a year the tires will dry rot before you wear them out.Well I hope they are decent tired. I just ordered a set of them yesterday. They were normally 227 a piece but they were on clearance for 141 a tire. I am a very conservative driver. If I put more than 2500 miles a year on my truck it's odd. I am not worried about spinning or crap like that. Heck I drive the thing like I would a Limo. Low and slow! I read that customers really like the comfort and wet traction so that sounds good to me. It's a all season radial and not a all terrain tire. I got those new because I never go off road unless I cross the grassy pasture out at my friend farm to go shoot.
I figured that at that price with no more and no faster than I drive they should do the trick.I ran a used set of take offs from a 2020 F150. Just replaced them a month ago. No idea how many miles were on them. They were pretty quiet and wore pretty good. They did get the brown rubber preservative sidewall stain pretty bad which I thought was a little premature for a 5 year old tire. Id buy them if they were on sale.
