We quit going to the parade years ago after my wife was almost trampled in a crowd surge on River Street.

I was in that parade in Savannah last year, I marched with the Georgia Southern University Southern Pride Marching Band. That was the first and last time I'll go to that parade lol. I think I'll listen to Luke Kelley and the Dubliners from home this year.

Went to Catholic schools in Chatham County K through 10th grade.
Had to march in the parade every year. Then moved away for two years. Then work.
I was 19 before I finally got to watch one.
