Have you noticed that the place where it breaks is really thin.

Yup, the “ears” where the pin goes through gets fatigued and breaks and the door kinda just dangles.

Saw that the Kennesaw location had some in stock so decided to snag 2 of them. They are essentially clones of the Streamlight TLR-1 HL for $60. Time will tell how they hold up, but pretty impressed out the box. Here's the video of it's performance: Link

I have a cheap ($60 back 20 years ago)
Red laser/LED low lumen flashlight on my home defense shotgun.
And for a while I took it off of that and put it on an SKS.
Over 2 decades it's probably only seen 200 rounds of shotgun shells fired past it it and a similar number of rifle rounds, but it has held up well.
