Anyone know of a local (Atlanta area) that casts bullets? Looking to buy bulk 44 and avoid paying an arm for shipping.

There used to be a couple in Alabama you could drive to and get huge discounts if you bought in bulk, and picked up.

Magnus, maybe? There was another one though, over by Anniston. I never bought in bulk from either, but have heard about huge group buys in the past.

It's a fun part of the hobby to pour your own. Not to expensive to start up. Get a toaster oven and u can powder coat too.

I've had molds and lead up for several months, dropped the price a couple of time and no interest. not like folks want to pour lead anymore.

It has been a while since I have needed to buy lead, but I honestly would not think to look on ODT for it. The last few times I have gone to Rotometal. You pay a little more, but I can get the exact mix I want. I have never enjoyed messing around with the mix ratio. For years I only used wheel weight, but now I use a good bit of Roto hardball mix and straight wheel weight is getting harder to find from trusted sources.
