Not HD, but I noticed a car dealership a few months back only advertising monthly payments, lease vs purchase. They had no prices listed.

I don't have vehicle payments, so I agree they're to be avoided in general.

That's for the folks that car shop with the question "how much it cost me a month".
But even many years ago the salesman wanted to talk monthly payments, not cash deal.
Walked out of quite a few dealers because the salesman tried to steer me to their finance guy.

I agree for sure. I noticed at Daytona bike week this year, not nearly as many old head HD bikers. I think HD is on their way out ultimately, especially if their dealerships are like this.
