Has anyone here worked 25 hours straight?

Yes ,we use to have to weld shut downs that lasted 48 hours.
Would get to weld for 36 hours straight, Crazy money on those.
All I can tell you is don't go to sleep between, always made me feel like crap.

When I was in the Army, the longest shift I ever worked was about 72 hours. The last 12 hours or so, I was delirious and throwing up randomly.

This ^^^^, reforger and some other exercises. wheeee

I don't suggest operating heavy machinery and that sort of thing for the last half of any shift like this.

I probably would if it's only 1-2 days a week...otherwise no. Extra money for guns and car parts isn't worth that much to me.....

Never been in the service, huh? You get a second wind, but after awhile you do weird stuff and make bad decisions without realizing it. If you take naps, keep them to 15-20 minutes. Easier to keep going. Jwhited is right. I caught a flight on the Stars and Stripes C130 in the early 80's. no jacket, it gets colder than H up there. Okinawa, Guam, PI, Hickam, Miramar and finally Travis. Caught another hop to Denver. Rented a car and drove across Colorado and Kansas. I was awake, but didn't realize I was driving down the median of I-70 until a trucker blew his air horn at me. Pulled off the interstate and slept for a real long time before continuing.

At 18 to about 28 I could do it. Now at 38 not a chance.

No sleep and driving is very comparable to dui.

I worked 30.5 hours from Wednesday morning until Thursday afternoon this week. I left work early today and am still feeling it, I am glad I do not have to do that on a regular basis. I need my beauty sleep......

All the time when I was in the Navy... Course that was 40 years ago. Longest was during tactical loadout in Charleston. 56 hours and then slept 28 hours straight. Woke up with a headache that was only cured with 1/2 bottle of JD.
