There's no algebra involved in function testing of AR-15. If the SOB fires and hits the target without a onslaught of problems then it will be alright for what he is using it for. A basic truck gun he doesn't care about getting banged around.
They are called the Gentry ( gentle born ) Upper class, they look down upon us poor psa owners, while they shooter matches with their DD rifles at the club, we sneak in and sleep with their wives , haha you rich AR snobs! Take that !
I’ve owned and shot thousands of rounds through early Armalite, early Bushmasters, Stag, DPMS, Rock River, Ruger, Aero, Anderson, BCM, JBO and late model PSA rifles…and a dozen mix and match uppers and lowers…and all I know is none of that is relevant to the quality of the one you’re thinking of buying next.

I don't look down on PSA owners. In fact I'm the one that suggested that we take a chance on it based on what everybody that has a PSA and loves them on here say about them. Now since I have not owned one I could not say for sure that they are complete trash but I have my doubts I have to admit. The other option was for me to build one using the absolute most inexpensive parts that I would use but it was considerably higher by $300 or more. So it came down to Bear Creek Arsenal which was a no-go absolutely. Or one of these other slack jawed outfits that I have never heard of anybody having or we roll the dice with the PSA. Now the rest comes right after deer season is over and we can get out the land to shoot. If I'm impressed then I will eat my words and give credit where credit is due that I can promise.
A PSA in the right hands is more reliable than a KAC in the wrong hands. (I worded it like that on purpose for all you folks who share my level of maturity)
