Nope. I have that big fella on camera just a couple of days ago, and he's still sporting that rack. He showed up a couple of weeks before the end of the season, and he has stuck around. He's at least a 12, and I was hoping to run across his sheds when they dropped. That's an 8 he's standing next to...
I usually wait until mid Feb and start looking thru all the bottlenecks that are eat up with kudzu, honeysuckle and privet.
Interesting. I guess there's no rhyme or reason for when they drop. I've killed a few bucks over the years that had already dropped their antlers in December but I also remember seeing a monster half-racked buck in March before.
