Yes, that will work probably, i have been looking for why it just started with no changes in loads or anything. i just tried some that were neck sized only, worked fine. I measured my 35 shell holders this morning. One was higher than the other three. I loaded some with it and tried them. worked fine too. I think I am gonna just change the hammer spring on it just for the hell of it and keep playing. Text me your mailing address. I have some small contender parts to send you.

It sounds like headspace-shoulder pushed back too far. I had the same issues with a 300BLK. Loading touching the lands solved the problem and allowed the shoulder to to blow out to the proper spot. Mixing and matching shell plates can cause the problem.

OK, I loaded up 20 rounds with 165 gr cast bullets, seated the bullet so it would just touch the lands. Took it out and shot all 20 rounds perfect. Evidently it is a shoulder setback problem. I wanted to make sure it was not a rifle problem as I am running it for sale here with its 444 barrel that goes with it from the factory. Thanks, Wallacem
