I've got a .50 cal Hawkens rifle. I don't know the specific maker, but the date code "AF" indicates it was made in 1980.

Says "made in Italy". Guess it could be Thompson, Traditions or CVA maybe...

It's missing the sight screw and spring. I'm having trouble locating just those two parts and was wondering if anybody here had any leads for sourcing those parts.

Post a pic- the Lyman Great Plains are made in Italy & I just changed sights to fiber optics. Mine look like this:

I'll give you mine if they fit- not sure on that one but most guns made in Italy will have a .360 metric dovetail instead of a 3/8" standard. Yours looks like CVA - maybe??? Try to mic it & see if .360" or .375".
