I just use an E-tool. I can finish off the intruder, and dispose of the remains, all with a single tool.

If the debate is between 9mm and .45acp the answer is always 10mm.

This is always going to be dependent on your situation and preferences. We don't have any neighbors directly by us, kids are grown and out of the house, but I still prefer #4 Buck for the shotgun inside the home.

For immediate home defense, the Glock 17 with 22 rounds of HST is by the bed.

Directly behind my nightstand is the shotgun.

Over by my EDC/equipment stand, I have a suppressed AR pistol, battle belt with Glock holster and spare pistol and AR mags.

Also hanging by the belt is a plate carrier with a few extra AR mags.

Now, I'm considering on adding (or replacing the shotgun) with a 9mm compact, suppressed pistol PCC.

Ironically crime and home invasion threats where we live are almost 0% probability, but I like to prepare for that 0.001% error
