You do know that HK had the first poly pistol right?

Still does not make it better than a $500 Glock that takes $15 apiece magazines. Notice also that I said "last ten years." The VP-70 was years ago.

And I have "afforded" a couple of HK's over the years. The USPc was alright. Trigger was not that wonderful for an $800 pistol. For that kind of money, I would much rather have a DA/SA CZ or a Glock with a boatload of mags and ammo.

Now if they brought a MP7 pistol to market - I would buy one.

I like the h&k finish over any other finish. My usp is from 1994. Beat to **** and still looks better than any other finish.

The street price of these will be about $600. Within $100 of the brands you mention. You think the build quality of a Glock is close to an HK?

The original HK poly gun no, a new USP for sure. What do you get? German Engineering. A gun meant for service, not to fit a police department budget.
