HELP!!! ar15 problems

did it start doing this after you changed out the handguards (guessing handguards when you say furniture)? you might have knocked out of place or crimped the gas line.

ran fine after i changed the hand guard so im guessing this is not the issue everything looks fine, the gas line looks perfect and not bent in any way that i can tell

Just chiming in if this hasn't been corrected. The issue your having definitely sounds like a gas problem, specifically lack of gas. First thing, get some small rubber tubing and slide it over the gas tube in the upper receiver and see if you can blow through it. You'll have a good bit of resistance, but you'll be able to tell if it's clear. If you can't blow through it try taking the gas block loose and sliding it forward to check the gas hole in the barrel. Then try blowing through the tube again. If open realign the gasblock with the gas port tighten it back in place. If it's clogged you probably need to drive the split pin out that holds the tube in the gasblock and separate them for inspection. After every step blow through the tube with the rubber hose to figure out where the stoppage is.

Check the gas key on the carrier to be sure it's tight and also check to see if anything is lodged inside the key. You can narrow down the issue by trying a different bolt carrier group in the upper.
