That's about how I have it setup. However I want the holster to hang lower off the belt than that.

Running a holster like that is just about impossible for me, even without a plate carrier being worn. The reach is just unnaturally high. I run both a Safariland and G-Code holster on my belt. Both of them have a drop adapter attached to the belt in order to get the gun down closer to the belt line. For me, lining the grip up closer to the bottom edge of the belt is more comfortable, but that can vary depending on the belt you decide to run. The drop adapter also helps provide clearance when wearing a PC in combination with the belt.Something like this perhaps?View attachment 690505

Even before I set up my PC, it was too high for my tastes. But I'm not a tall guy and everyone has what works best for them. I'll post up some pictures later of my belt and the drop adapters for the GCode & Safariland holsters. If I were in a position where I needed to wear a FLC or PC I'd wholeheartedly agree. The setup pictured is more for experimentation than anything else. I'll probably eventually go with a lower holster as things progress.
That's an older style BFG Trauma Now ifak that I got on closeout from BFG. Filled it with gear from Dark Angel Medical. Now, if I just knew how to use it all. It seems really poser-ish to me, but I figure I can either plug a hole or apply a TQ if necessary and hope that a medic can make use of it if there's an accident on the range during a class.Dangit!! Now I want to reconfigure my IFAK!
Nice setup
