This occurs while it's in park and at low speed.
The sound does not come from the engine bay and I've determined that it’s most prevalent around the actual transmission.
It comes and goes but doesn’t matter whether it’s at op temp or not.
There is no noticeable issues or changes with how it shifts or drives.

My initial thought is a cracked flex plate based on what I’ve watched and read online and seems to be a common problem with these.
Could it be motor and/or transmission mounts? My thought is no because it’s not clunking and usually there’s a change when things heat up/cool down based on the harmonics of the drivetrain.

Would like to know the ODT collectives thoughts. Although I’m comfortable enough to be dangerous mechanically, anything that involves the transmission is not something I feel comfortable with. So if you know what it is, you get bonus points for cost involved in repairing it.

When's the last time you changed you transmission strainer, it sounds like fluid struggling to get through a passage in the valve body or something. Can only tell so much from sounds on the phone

Understood for sure. Sounds only tell a small story.
Transmission is new as of August 9th. Installed at a Chevrolet dealership.

A little backstory. I bought this in Utah and drove it back to Georgia at the beginning of September.

Went to Hobo Freight. Bought the little $9 stethoscope.
The sound is loudest from the bottom of the transmission pan.
It goes away when in other gears and reappears only in park and at low speeds in drive.
This seems to eliminate the flex plate issue as the sound is very faint there and near the bell housing.

Trans fluid is at a good level and is red with no burnt toast smell.

Any ideas with the new info?

Picture is obvious. Just the bottom of the pan.
