Help needed on Remington R25 build

I have a Remington R25 receiver set and I am wanting to build it into an operational riffle. The main thing im stuck on is what i need for the upper. From what i have read, it is a dpms lr308 gen 2 style rifle and I am seeing contradicting information on the barrel, bcg, and dust cover. Is it possible that i could use an lr308 barrel with lr308 bcg in this receiver? I can tell a regular dust cover wouldnt work due to the cutout on the receiver. Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

I had a R25 in 7mm08 . It was crazy accurate but too heavy for me . I wanted to lighten it up by changing the handguard and a few other parts but I could never get enough info on it . Seems there were 2 generations made. Try Preadatormasters .com.The guys over there know their stuff . Good luck
