Wrong. The feds don’t consider muzzle loaders, or antique weapons, as firearms. The state does. There’s no law being trumped. A felon can’t possess em in Georgia, period.

You realize that drug use makes you a prohibited person both federally and in the state of GA.

So, can a Georgia resident own
and carry in their car
a short barreled muzzle loading only black powder shotgun that has let's say 12 inch barrels and a pistol grip only thing where the buttstock used to be?

Does GA's law have an exception for antique guns the way the feds do?


Does Georgia law have an exception for weapons that are legal under federal law because either
(A) the guns are unregulated under the national firearms act or

(B) the guns are regulated by the NFA, but the person processing them has complied with all the regulations regarding tax stamps and paperwork?
