Herman Cain

Herman may be a great person and all, but his show BLOWS!

1- Waaaaay to preachy! I hate being yelled at when I try to voluntarily listen to someone. (Had enough of that in Baptist churches. If I go into any church now, and the head guy starts yelling, I will get up and walk out.... I HATE that!)

2- Boring- He doesn't seem to have any kind of a sense of humor. Boortz used to pull fun stunts and crack off-color jokes. I have never heard Herman say anything funny. Not once.

3- Pronunciation. I just can't seem to get past my prejudice. Herman is a smart man... But anyone who says "Gub-MINT" when they mean to say "Government," or "Amboo-LANCE" when they mean to say "Ambulance" just has, and always will fall into my "moron" category. I can't help it-I am just prejudiced against anyone who can't figure out how to speak their own native language better than that.

I think they will probably try and string Herman along for about 4 or 5 months, then he will be replaced by Erik. Herman may be a real life success story and a saint of a human being, but he is about the most God-Awful radio talk show host I have ever heard (at least #2 worst-behind Michael Savage.)

(Why savage hasn't sucked on the business end of a shotgun barrel by now is a mystery to me. That guy is miserable with everything that was, is, and ever will be. A truly depressing bastard!)

Kimmer was the best! Newsmaker hot line, Wayne No Offense, "What, did you hear something?" Best drive home show on the radio.

God-

I still laugh about stuff I heard on that show during the Olympics. My God- That parody they did of connie chung doing a live remote from the olympics is about the funniest thing I have ever heard-anywhere.

"You go to hell Kimmer-you go to hell and you die! Devil stick pitchfork in your ass in hell Kimmer. You go to hell and you die-G.I.!" (With a horribly fake Chinese accent.)

I wish I could find the audio to that one. Made me laugh so hard I was crying!!! 9And they did lots of those "live remotes" with connie. They should all be in the radio hall of fame!

(The show lost a lot of its zing in more recent years, bit it was awesome in the mid to late 90s.)

I like Herman, wish he was our President. I miss Neal, I was forced to listen to Neal while riding in the car with my step father and then I began listening to him on my own for the last 10 years. I do not see that happening with Herman, he just does not translate to radio real well. I do agree with Herman on most of the issues and think he is a brilliant business man, just not the best choice for radio..........

Herman is a good teacher and observer, but not a great entertainer. I still miss the kimmer.
x3! Kim peterson was awesome! Listened to him every day on my way home from work. The Leslie Dove segments were halarious! Me and my dad went and saw the comedian that did all the newsmaker line segments. Funny stuff! Ive still got one of his "GIVE WAR A CHANCE" shirts.

I think that he is, at best, a nighttime talk show host or Saturday talk show host. I would much rather listen to Eric Erickson in the morning.
Anybody but Eric. He's got good points but he sounds like a retard. I can't stand him. Herman is so-so but he's following the talkmaster and those are tough shoes to fill.
