hey gamers- can i get some help?

my 13 yr old son- wants a new headset for his birthday,... he is all into call of duty- has a clan (??) etc that he belongs to.

I am clueless- i just know he wants his next headsets to be wired, because he has to feed his current set batteries like crazy-

anyone got a recommendation in the $150 range ?? what model- where to buy ??

I agree anything turtle beach I got the rechargeable tango headset so it's the best of both worlds it's wireless and you can just recharge it using the long chord included so if it dies in the middle of a match you just hook it up and keep playing plus when you want to watch a movie you can do so quietly and get amazing surround sound

I am with ya on that idea- Amazon seems to have a bazillion models-

Anybody have a specific model they can recommend ?

I thought x42's, but he wants wired, they are wireless..

If he plays ps3, I really like my ps3 pulse headset. I've had it for few yrs nows and they rock. I paid like $160 for mine but I checked eBay recently and they are like $80-$90 shipped

I got my Turtle Beachs X12s this black Friday for $40. Best $40 I spent in a long time. I believe wired headphones get better quality sound vs wireless.
