Everyone talks trash here but the jhp45 is the best .45acp I know of for the money. hasn't ever Jamed on me either. The large round fmj nose has no problem with the feed ramp like the 9c model. The 115gr sharp nose of the 9mm tends to jam without a polished feed ramp.

"Best for the money" is like saying "pound for pound ants are stronger than bulls". Both statements are technically true.

Guns are not supposed to jam especially when firing FMJs.

Hi-Pionts typically function and are better than other guns at that price point. Prices are down across the board right now and if someone can put together a little more cash, he can get a quality firearm that will increase in value.

I have owned Hi Points chambered in both 9mm and 45acp.....both of them ate everything I feed them. The Hi Point carbines are great shooting little rifles too....
