Given the track record of Hi Point products - absolutely
I haven't had one of those come through my class, that I can remember. Can't see why one of those wouldn't run all weekend. They're a solid, well-built design.
Okay well let's consider that the assembly line building the ARs is completely different than their previous product lines. Hell it may not even be in the same location. So it's not like you're gonna get Zamac parts in the ARs. So my point is that if they're in spec and the QC is at least as good as PSA Del Ton Anderson etc then how bad can they really be?
Don't get me wrong I don't need or even want another AR. They've gotten kinda boring. But I'm just saying that the AR production line is most likely far away from the Yeet Cannon and 995 lines. And it's probably comparable to pretty much any other budget AR. Hell I would even bet their QC is better than Bear Creek.
I just feel like it's at least worth waiting for some testing reviews or torture test videos before passing judgment strictly based on the brand name.

I appreciate a company that helps everyone that needs or wants a gun to be able to afford one. Do I think it should be the go to brand for everyone? Of course not. The Hi Points that I own aren't my go to guns if I happen to need one. I just don't see the point of you being that negative about what IS an American company providing products and very good customer service. But whatever... You're certainly allowed to hate if you so choose.

It's nov 3rd. On the fence about who you want to vote for. Let's say, for ease, that your primary deciding factor is how illegal immigration is handled, and more specifically, the lack of enforcement. The politician has historically voted down immigration controls, supported voting rights for illegals, voted for funding of sanctuary cities. They suddenly declare that they are anti-illegal immigration amd will have a no tolerance agenda if elected. You buying it? Why or why not?
Track record and reputation are important. And the company creates it and has a responsibility in the creation and maintenance of said reputation. Im not the problem for not giving them chance after chance. It's highly, highly, highly unlikely that a company makes a very sudden change for the better. It's ingrained into their guiding principles, their culture, their business model. Their identity.
