for a week after.....

Mine was replaced 8 years ago. All the crap from the Army and sports. It was continual pain, especially when sitting. Docs, MRI’s is the only way to be certain. If you have it done, anterior is the way to go. Virtually no PT except walking and no real restrictions. I was taking care of an 18 month old by myself less than 24 hours after surgery. I can recommend an excellent surgeon but he is in Atlanta.

Yep, Thank you I will send you a PM if I decide to have it replaced. My Father says I'm still too young for replacements at 52 though. The Army destroyed my body.

What Retired Army Retired Army said. Both of mine are replaced and one was basically outpatient surgery. I knew it was time because one wouldn't let me sleep anywhere but the recliner and the other gave out one day and I thought I was headed to the floor! Mine was due to bad genes as I was the first and only one in the family to have hips replaced. Doc only did an x-ray for mine which showed a misshapen ball on a deformed socket with no cartilage.
