hello ODT, I have the opportunity to purchase a used VP9 standard model for $450 or a brand new Canik TP9sf for $330. Hard choice. What do you think?? Just going to be a range pistol

I hate to say it, but even as an HK guy I'd get the Canik over the VP9. Odds are you aren't going to run the VP9 like MAC did, but the VP9 wasn't reliable in adverse conditions. You can get a TP9SF delivered to your local FFL for $330 or so any day of the week, so that's not really a special price. The Caniks are supposed to be great guns and very reliable. I'd like to try one.

Just saw a TP90 on here for $300. I've had both, and although I'm an HK fanboy, I'd prefer the Canik if for range use and general security. It pains me a bit to say that, but the TP9 is impressive.
I could take that in either direction. What do you mean?

I have the Canik, And i love it. But i would check your prices I bought mine new for 300 Ive also seen them on here for around 280 used.

if you decide not to buy the VP9 let me know where to get one for 450 ive been itching for one!
Buy the HK and use it to trade for a Canik + $250. That way you get the Canik ( in my opinion a better pistol than the VP9) for $200. Obviously the HK holds more trade value than the Canik.
