Hog Hunting on a WMA during Turkey Season, which ammo can be used?

Look at it this way, if you are on a WMA, during a turkey hunt - and get checked by a warden - I can almost guarantee you will get a ticket if you are not abiding by the requirements for hunting turkeys. It would be up to you to prove otherwise.

Your OP clearly states that a legal weapon for turkey hunting is a "shotgun with no. 2 or small shot" - why do you have any doubt on this issue?

Use a shotgun with a cut shell. If you don't know what that is go to youtube and search for it. You basically take any shell that has bird shot and cut the outer plastic hull almost all the around at the base of the wad. The entire end of the shell comes out and it acts like a slug.

As said you can only hunt hogs (or yotes for that matter) on WMAs with the weapon allowed for what game is in season. The allowed weapon for turkey is the combination of a shotgun with #2 or smaller shot or any muzzleloader. If the shotgun has a shot size larger than #2 in it, it is NOT a legal weapon for turkey. With a muzzle loader you can use shot or bullets because ANY muzzleloader is a legal weapon for turkey.

Or even worst.

Because logic and laws do not necessarily go together. And because in my opinion the way it is written it leaves room to interpretation (and the answer that I got at the exam is an probably a good evidence of that).

Anyhow, I could not find the original text of the regulations (by the Board of Natural Resources), other than the 'Georgia Hunting, Seasons & Regulations' publication, so I rest my case :). No slugs for hogs on WMA's during turkey season.
