Holosun or Trijicon

My eyes see the Holosun dot the best out of all the options lol but i always make sure i have a cowitness and a light just in case!
Honestly, man, it truly comes down to preference.

Do I have an issue behind the Holosun politics? Yeah, but the same goes for Turkish firearms. If I buy either, I’ll likely buy it used rather than new, but I digress.

I like the donut reticle on a 509T over the RMR dot for this application.

Have an RMR on my FNX45 and an SRO on a 22/45 so it’s not about brand loyalty. Buy what works.

Also be advised not all Trijicon RMR models are the same.

I’m personally NOT a fan of the Dual Illumination versions or the new RCR fully enclosed with the funky mounting set up.

Budget/best bang/heavy-duty
RM06 Type 2 with the 3.25MOA Dot that you can adjust the brightness.

Operator/no budget worries
RMR HD 02 3.25MOA

Thought I’d mention the SRO as well but that version isn’t duty rated. Great large sight picture but is known for durability issues with the glass cracking. Good for c ompetitive shooting activities but I wouldn’t recommend it for EDC. Thanks for this reply! This definitely helps aot!

🤣🤣🤣🤣 seems pretty accurate

The 508t is a fantastic optic. It’s durable and has lots of features, including a bigger window/cleaner sight picture. The RMR is the former gold standard. Great dot. But don’t be put off by these “oNlY bUy mErIcAn mAdE” folks. More than 75% of their worldly possessions come from China or elsewhere.

maybe, but out of those 75% of our "worldly possessions" how many use our feedback to help make the Chinese military more effective?.
