Dang.....I just saw this. I'm in.

I find that the N GA mountain prices of homes (with land) have skyrocketed to an insane amount of money and you still get a POS house. However, land deals can still be found.........

I always avoided the buying land and building concept due to the price the GC charges. I would love to sub it out and be my own contractor.....I have exp sub'ing projects with all my rentals and such.

I'll have to catch up on this thread. Thx for sharing.

With current OSB and 2x4 pricing, I don't see how anybody is affording to build a house right now, prices are crazy.

A guy I know was building a house he said it was going to be MIN of 160/sq foot not counting the land etc.

If you think 2xs and osb are expensive, check out plywood especially treated.

Yep, I had to get a sheet of plywood the other day. I had to triple check what I was looking at when I saw the prices.
