Building a house is one of the most stressful things I ever did. Your project looks great though. Thanks for posting.

Absolutely I am glad because even though I was losing hair and wanting to flog the GC with a hickory switch, I ended up on the land I wanted to come home to. And even though it was significantly over budget, land prices have risen so much now I have significant equity in the property anyway. And really I just wanted to be able to walk out in my yard naked with a jug of whiskey and fire a shotgun into the treeline without complaints. Mission accomplished. Were you glad you did it after?
Thanks for the note
When we had the misfortune to be exiled up north for a year and a half, I noticed a lot of driveways, even in close proximity neighborhoods, used asphalt for their driveways. Even if really short. I assume it is something to do with the weather but I always wondered why that isn't the case here for longer rural driveways. I'm going on the assumption that is materially cheaper than concrete.
I hope she is offering you a 1.5% commission discount , I offer all odt members that for listings :-)
Nah , the other party determines the commission for the buyers agent.. it is not up to the buyers agent representing you..
The key takeaway is that: the buyers agent will see when a property offers low or no commission for them and they should be honest enough to not try to sway you away from the property just because of that
ive taken losses and took a 0$ commission for many hours of work because it was the house my client wanted
not to mention it’s extremely hard for a buyers agent right now , in this competitive environment - he could show you ten homes , put in hours and hours of work and get nothing because it’s hard to get a contract for buyers right now
If I can help you lmk, I live close to kennesaw
cheers
