Yea but once your in the government system your practically in for life with regular pay raises, vacation, and medical insurance that's not Obama care and every federal holiday off with pay. Pay starts off low but if you do your time it's a better retirement package than they offer to military retirees.
Federal LE jobs are even better. I was making $45k my first year. Now it's much higher. I can retire at 20yrs plus I get credit for my time in the Corps.
Even better (minus benies unless its with a big corp) with the private contractors. Easily double the GEMHSA posting. 5 years ago. Which is why I loled.
