So bein's that I'm the type of guy who likes to rig things and invent totally unnecessary contraptions, I plan to make my own trans fluid flush pump. Fleabay has a geared 12v pump that pumps 3.7 gpm (more than I need) and I plan to use a pulse width modulator to meter the speed of the motor/flow rate. I'm going to start by pulling one of the cooler lines off the radiator and measure the flow rate that the trans pumps at. Then when I get the external pump up and running, I can meter the flow to match the car. The setup will be that the car pumps the old fluid right into a bucket and the external pump will pump in the new fluid from an external reservoir. No I don't have tons of free time. Matter of fact I'm covered up but I will get plenty of use as well as my family members if this works out right. My only concern is the flow rate of the pump after dropping the rpm's... Crazy? Yes. Crazy like a fox? Maybe...

sounds good. when we pump one out its a 3 man op. pull cooler line and route to receptacle. start engine have it put into all gears. as fluid exits return that amount into filler neck. after max volume is recovered your done. great to do every 50-60k miles imho.
