Honest review on TCP Taurus

I got my wife one a while back. Took it out for some breaking in and I couldn't run one whole mag without the slide locking back at least twice. The foot on the slide catch that is pushed up by the magazine follower was sticking out just enough that the round was catching it. A few minutes with a dremel tool fixed that, and so far it has had no more issues.

Only problem I had was it loading every now and then. You have to slide the slide back, and release it pretty hard, or else it wouldn't load the first round.

After than though, it goes bang everytime and load the next one every time. No problem here.

My wife has had two of these. Slide rail snapped off of the first one at the range one day. I sent it off to Taurus and bought her a temporary replacement while we looked for a Sig. Didn't have any problems with the replacement I bought, but she had lost confidence in her carry gun. I never fired the replacement from Taurus.

Picked me up one this morning. The other plans I had for the day got changed so I was able to shoot it. I shot 100rds of 95gr FMJ ammo from Ga Arms and 18rds of 90gr HP defense ammo as well.

This little gun is amazing and I had zero issues with it. Very accurate for its size and recoil is very manageable. Only thing I'm going to do is get the pinky extensions for my mags. Other than that its great. If you are wanting one of these do not hesitate to get one. You will not be disappointed in it. JMO on this little gun.
