Depending on thickness of the twine, might want to try some heavy braid on some of your sets. Might my somewhat line shy or make the bait present more naturally. At any rate, keep at it and load up the cooler. Tons of fun!
3/0 circle hook will catch a huge catfish. You only need a gap big enough for a the lip to fit in.

We went last Thursday and didn't change a thing. All 12-15 of them were caught in the mouth. Guess they liked hotdogs in strawberry Jello more than the ones in cherry koolaid so they didn't slap it
