Thighs are THE best part of the chicken. Breasts are fine but I can't hardly cook them without them getting dried out.

I eat wings off the smoker. Growing up, if you were late for supper, you got wings and backs if you were lucky. I have 3 younger brothers and we would eat your food for spite if you were late.
I remember 10 cent wing nights. Prolly 30 yrs ago. Place I frequent has 10 wings a side and a draft for 13.99 everyday

Wings are okay. Used to be better when they were cheap eats. Personally I'm not spending the money on wings when breast and thighs cost less. I'm definitely not spending $15 for the 10 anorexic wings that most restaurants serve.
I prefer the hooters buffalo shrimpCan someone tell me why they are so popular? I could go the rest of my life and never eat them and not miss them. A guy I work with is borderline religious about "cold beer and hot wings." It's like a religious experience for him. I think it's another version of "ribs" for me. Everybody I know loves them, I can't be bothered. So, convince me...what's the deal with "wings?"
