I traded for this Ishapore Enfield last year from another member and I really dig it. But I hate not having irons and I'm looking for a way to get some back on it. I prefer the front sight setup of the mk4 Enfield with the two piece setup. You know you have the sight and the U shaped protector that goes around it.
I'm fine with the Tasco world class glass that's currently on it but if I put irons back on it I guess I would need different rings to set it up higher. Or possibly a totally different mount. Can't seem to find much info or options online.

looks like you should be able to re-install them if the pin holes are there. I have no idea what endfield and ishapore parts are cross compatible though

The No1 enfield was never designed to take a rear aperture sight. The front sight bases were pinned onto the barrel on both No4s and No1s. For a front sight it would be easiest to have a gunsmith soder on a sporting front sight base. For a rear sight, it'd be best to probably drill into the side of the receiver and install a redfield rear aperture sight or similar.
