How do you bump an ad back to the top?

I've seen ads with 'bump' added as a post, and it appears that some ads do actually move back to the top without being re-posted. Is that right, or do you have to set your own filters to most recent in order for bumped ads to be at the top? I'm hoping to not have to re-typed everything on an ad that's 6 or 8 pages back after a few days.

If you have the bump system on (I guess) every new post will bump an ad back to the top

i hate the feed.....i spend hours just staring at it. its like crack for gun nuts! lol

Ads are listed in the classifieds in the order that they are originally posted. After 3 days there is a "relist" option that re-posts the first original post in an ad and puts it at the top of the list again.

The "bump" reply posts put the ad at the top of the What's New list. Most of us surf the site via the What's New list or the feed (same only live updates) so you get a lot more view every time you bump.
