How do you upload a video?

How do you upload a windows media player video? I have one that is 24mb and the file uploader keeps saying it is too large. I know I've seen larger videos posted. These are vids I made with my iPhone. Thanks.

Most of the videos are uploaded to youtube , photobucket or the like, Then embedded/linked on the this site.

The only way I know if is to upload them to youtube and then you can easily embed them into your posts.
