How many calibers...

Think I am sicker than I thought... 1506132813823501345208.jpg

I don't mind having extra gun in extra calibers.
I don't feel compelled to hoard 10K rounds in each caliber for any gun I own.
If I've got several thousand rounds of the few defensive calibers that I'd use if the S.H.T.F., and .22 rimfire (for shooting for fun and small game hunting), that's enough. It doesn't bother me if I only have 50 rounds left for my .380 pistol. I only need 8 to carry in it! If I have 50, that's several times more than I need.
If I run out completely and can't use that pistol anymore, fine. Into the safe it goes and out comes some other concealed carry gun in caliber that I "do" have ammo for.

22lr, 9mm, 45ACP, 5.56/.223, 300BK, 308 Win, 338 Lapua, 12ga.

There are many others, but these are the ones that get stockpiled.

I have plenty of 9mm, 7.62 x 39, .308, and .22LR. Those are the calibers I want to have a lot of, and would make a considerable effort to replace, in quantity.

I happen to have acquired a ton of .38 spl and .357 magnum over the years, but I really don't need all that.
Since I have it, I'll keep it. But at the rate I shoot my wheelguns, I've got 3 lifetimes' supply of food for the S&W revolvers.

I don't have much 12 or 20 gauge defensive shotgun ammo, and I'm OK with that. I don't need much.

I counted 17 that I can recall... some stuff I don't keep much of, like .357 SIG. Other stuff I basically have a lifetime supply.
