Broke my left arm at age 6. Thought it would be cool to ride an adult sized bike. Made it down the driveway and tried to make a u-turn around the porch post at great gmaws. Didnt make it. All the weight went down on my left arm/elbow. Compound break in my forearm. Had bone sticking out and a little blood. Passed out in the back of gmaws car on the way to the hospital. Yeah, I was a sissy back then, too :D

As a kid in Wisconsin I used to race Nastar events, (snow skiing) and did a Linda Blair on my right knee. About a 270 degree twist. 2 months in Hospital, arthroscopic didn't exist back then, they laid you open.

#2 was the heavy plate glass door that swung both ways at my office in Chicago, snapped the middle finger of my right hand clean off after the second knuckle, hand surgeon at University of Chicago reattached. I'm right handed, try, just for ****s and giggles, wiping your ass with your weak hand.

Post your results!
Know about those fingers. Lost the ends of two fingers and is the reason I can't shoot Glocks. My trigger finger was one of them.

Skull - Baby bro hit me in the head with a hammer, drove a half dollar sized chunk into the brain. Almost crossed to the upper room on that one.

Wrist - Broke in an auto accident Dec '89, a week before I reported to Ft. Sill for FA/OBC. Completed OBC but bone went necrotic and had to be excised and replaced with a prosthetic.

Rib - left side. Playing paintball, dumbass thing to do.

Right thumb - mother ****er still hurts and I can't bend it.

A member's (Barbwire, aka Knievel) got me wondering.
I've been lucky I guess. Never broken a bone other than a toe (and that's an assumption, xray was inconclusive).
35+ years of motorcycling, snow and water skiing, all the kid sports etc. Like I said, lucky I guess. :noidea:
You? And yes, stories are required.....
One ...an the required story...Born in 1954 Long Island NY.Parents lived by a freight yard which my buddy an I would always go into an were never allowed to by our parents.Come 4th of july an we weren't allowed to have firecrackers ,we were little kids.We came across this crate that was leaning against a boxcar an pushed it over, made a nice noise so we kept doing it.The last time we tried to lean it back up my buddy decided it wasn't going happen an bailed leaving me there like a little hercules which didn't happen.Crate crashed down on me an one of the skids broke my leg.Crawled out one of the openings but couldn't stand up.My sister was on her tricycle near by so I go on it pedaled home with one leg dragging.Crawled in the house said Mom my leg's not working. She barked at me that I was in the freight yard an wait till your father gets home.Laid on the couch all day with a broken leg.
