How many people are using a freeze dryer?

We have been harvesting our greens (cabbage, kale, spinach, beet greens, and turnip greens), food processing, then freeze drying and running it through the Vitamix to make our own greens powder to add to smoothies.

Just did a bunch of fruit for the grandsons. Each tray has 2 bananas, 1.5# strawberries, 4 Oz blueberries, and about 1.5 cups applesauce. Wife gave her approval on test tasting, so they won't last long.

Throw some seasoning on and you got something better and healthier than tater chips. My favorite is cucumber with dill pickle seasoning.

We've got 3 batches of pickles already in the fridge. They probably do make some good ass chips

I hear sweet potatoes are great for this? Supposedly have more vitamins & minerals than anything else? Something I saw in the juicer’s book. Idk

I put ranch Ranch seasoning on carrots and squash a while back. Turned out good with a different flavor from chips.

We might have to try freeze drying. I think dehydrating takes some of the good out? I gotta keep making jerky though.
