How much do you tip a house framing crew?

Tipping framers? I'm all for tipping the service industry.... but that's unnecessary. I feel like so many different occupations have adopted thus and everyone that does a job wants some forms of "extra"

Framers know what I'm talking about. And anyone else that has an "actual hands on " job. Everyone doesn't get a tip.

As said before... do a BBQ and make it a fun one. If they are some cool cats and you could feel comfortablewith them in your house-- cook for them and give them some suds. That will go a long way

If gonna tip them (with money) do it when thru if not they will be expecting it weekly.if wanting to do a kindly gester I would buy lunch.

It would never have occurred to me to tip people who make as much, if not more, per hour as me. Tips are for people who depend on them to make a decent wage. Maybe if they came in on time or early and under budget it'd be nice to tip to share the savings. But to tip well paid construction workers for just doing what they are getting well paid to do already? Sorry, no.

Beer bust died with personal injury lawyers. When I worked at HP in the 70's every Friday was a beer bust until someone drove drunk in the Chicago office killing himself and 2 other folks.... I can say I got drunk on my ass many Fridays and always had a sober driver to get us home.

Also, the job site looks cleaner than most. I would go the drink and food route.

Have a topping out party, set up the grill and cook some burgers with all the fixin's or steaks and potato salad, cold drinks.

Looks good..could be the angle of the pic ... The ridge on the garage looks like the
crown is down and the barge rafter on front right looks a lil askew.
