Lord help this country of, well this country that used to be ours.

Seems like we've lost our sense of self reliance and independence? Just wring our hands when walmart's sold out of .22's.

Damned, if I ain't got more respect for those so called illegal hoarding, reselling, tax dodging evil doers than a I do for folks that day after day continue to sit and complain about them.

Those evil doers ain't sitting on their ass, they're beating the bush to find what ya'll want.

Probably the same ppl. that go out and stock up on bread and milk when we get 1/4" of snow...lol
Never quite figured that 1 out myself...

Seems to me like the problem is in the supply pipeline, not at the point of sale or after. I'm far more upset or concerned about the government agencies that are restricting the supply through massive open bids to aquire, than a guy who buys 1k rounds for $400 and sells it for $450.

I guess anything that will result in lower prices and wider availibility on ammo will be fine with me, whether from more supply, less consumption, or panic selling by those who have to raise $ to pay their rent - but i'd put the last of these three options as the one with the least impact on the price or availibility.

lord help us.......

It is tiring to listen to the moaners and whiners that probably coudn't pull themselves away from American Idol or People Magazine long enough to see what has been going on for the last 30 years or so. They are simply caught un-prepared and are now demonizing those that did prepare. What do you guys want? Ammocare socialism? When Clinton started talking assault weapon ban in the early 90's I bought 10 cases (50,000) rounds of .22lr at $7-$10 a brick. The price varied because of the short supply....some took charge and prepared for the future. I also bought 10 cases of .223. I am buying more, even now, because I believe the collapse of the dollar is closer than ever, and the black-swan events (Boston Marathon bombing) either orchestrated or exploited by the gubmint (never let a crisis go to waste) could cause another panic or deplete the supply altogether. Look what Butch Napolitano is doing to help.

Chances are, most of these whiners were educated in gubmint funded schools whose objective was to assure that their graduates would not have even a remote understanding of governance or economics, nor develope the thinking ability to be able to understand what is being done to them.

The lord helps those that help themselves.
