How often? How many rounds?

Need to add a zero on the end of those numbers.
In other words,
I would say shoot a few thousand rimfire for plinking (I shoot maybe 100-200 per session) ,
A box or two per session of rifle cartridges for practice….
A couple hundred handgun rounds per session for practice….
Etc., etc…..

Those numbers you put up aren’t going to keep me or my guys satisfied on shooting at all.
That is why we reload as much as we can as far as handgun rounds….it is for cost and also hobby . But mostly cost. I cast as much as I can for handgun cartridges…. like .44mag and special, .45long Colt and ACP, .38 & .357 , .41mag , etc and so forth. It is just too dang expensive otherwise ! Heck, the components have gotten expensive as hell too !! Powder and primers are out of sight. The projectiles I can’t cast that I have to buy are expensive. .22LR and shotshells have gotten expensive too !
It is darned sure not a cheap hobby !! Not anywhere like it used to be , cost wise !!
Really never was cheap. Guns, cars, smokin, drinkin and last but not least women........

Yeah, I can understand that. But I shoot because I enjoy it and have a collection of quite a few firearms my father left me. As well as a large amount of reloading materials because we used to sit and reload and talk a lot then we would go shoot and enjoy the fruits of our labor . lol.
It is something I was brought up on .
So how did you get started with the 41mag? And hows your leg doin?

Years ago I came across a deal that had a 41magnum Ruger Redhawk included. I had never had any experience with the 41 but decided to give it a “shot” - so to speak. Loved it and have been stuck on them ever since.

As far as leg/hip and all that….i am still sore as heck but am trying to work it out a little here and there. Matter of fact I have a P.T. appointment here in a couple of hours.
Thanks for asking !

Thanks again ! Yep I have to keep on the positive side I think . It is really easy to get down and depressed about this stuff when it is as extensive as it has been like in my case. It seems like everytime I turn around I have some other issue slapping me in the face or kicking me in the nuts !! lol.
I have a great ole lady and she has been a real champ about helping me out and making sure I stay on track !!
I am very blessed I think !!

Yes you are on all counts. Just like with my Wife. I tell her to do the best she can. That's all I can ask for

Not near as much as I should. My range sessions have fallen off to about 1 trip a month and about 200 rounds. I run drills of 1 to 3 shots each, usually done very slow. I makes a huge difference when you get out from behind the trigger. I was a 5 day a week shooter for almost 2 years. I cracked the bolt on my bcm and broke the extractor on my black ops recon. A training class every 3 months. I miss that.
